Drainage foundation foil
VELTEC® FK 400 foundation foil - designed for vertical insulation of foundations, walls, ceilings that are in direct contact with the ground. The use of embossing creates an air gap between the building structure and the insulation. This gap provides excellent drainage of water and steam preventing excessive moisture and hydrostatic pressure build-up in areas of the building exposed to soaking. Embossing prevents the insulation from displacing due to settlement of the backfilled soil. The film also works well as insulation for terraces, ceilings, floors, sealing of drainage ditches and as a drainage layer in the construction of green roofs.
